Confused as he heard a faint hum, sounding like a voice; the troll had exited his respiteblock and started to search for it. He had heard it nearby, he was absolutely sure of it. As Eridan continued to search, after a few minutes of time he had finally found John.

“Oh,” the reasoning behind his typing style became crystal clear as he stuttered on his W’s, “Hey, John. ‘Was lookin for you for a few minutes now. Sorry about that.” the seadweller was in his “normal” garb, consisting of his sign shirt and striped pants, and a scarf. He was up all day and didn’t really bother with his cape.

“Should we start on the shirts soon, or should we do them later on..?” He trailed on, already thinking of designs they could use. ‘Why am I so fuckin excited about the designs for an already depressing club.’ Eridan thought as he had some colour schemes thought of. He thought of smiling, but decided not to, as he didn’t want to scare his new friend off.

Grinning from ear to ear, he zoomed up to the troll and, without asking, hugged him tightly. Well, they were friends right?? So it was okay…? He hoped so, backing off after a moment and twisting the end of his hood in his hands anxiously. “Hey Eridan.” Voice was quiet, not wanting to be too abrasive. That was always the problem Karkat had with him, wasn’t it? He was too excitable. Well, not so much lately - more worried and pensive, but he wanted to seem in good spirits when he met his new friend face to face.

Careless shrug, and he nudged his glasses up further on his nose. “We can do whatever you want. It’s your house!” A beat passed. “Hive,” he corrected himself. “It’s your hive.” Smile, smile. “I brought the stuff I said I would, I think I have enough. Just two shirts though so I hope we don’t mess up.”
