Eridan grinned as he heard the mention of Ghostbusters, “Y’know, I’ve never watched it before. I’ve heard of it, sure, because so many humans have mentioned it, but… Never got around to it.” He started to lead the smaller human to the livingblock, making sure John had everything with him. “We could watch Ghostbusters and then do the shirts? I want to pay full attention to the movie, if possible.”
“Though.. anything is fine with me, honestly.” He managed a full smile, looking pretty damn happy he had an actual friend. “I usually use music as background noise when I’m working on something, but it differs between person to person.”
Wait, is he joking or is he actually wanting to talk about boys and do nails? Is he trying to be like a second Karkat or..? “We could do that if you’re being serious, I mean..” He looked down as he continued walking, “I wouldn’t really mind.”
As time went by, we’re talking about 2 minutes, they had finally arrived at the livingblock. He motioned for John to set the shirts and movie down before he sat down. “Movie first, shirts second, and uh.. Boy-talk later, I suppose.”
No way. John’s jaw nearly dropped to the floor, eyes wide behind his dopey glasses. “No way.” Head shook in incredulity, and he laughed. “Noooo way! It’s amazing and we definitely need to watch it. I’m putting my foot down.”
And he did so, lifting his foot and stamping it lightly on the floor. The topic of music was introduced, and he smiled again. “I like music. I play the piano, actually.” He sighed happily, thinking of the piano in his house. Good times.
Curious look, then doofy grin. “We can do whatever you want. I don’t have any nail polish, though. Hehe.” They could just use paint, if… they… really did that. Welp. That was a bit of a gag that backfired. Hm. He’d have to try harder.
Following him to the room, he set down his backpack and looked around. “This place is really cool! Whoa!” Floating up towards the ceiling, he explored a little modestly before returning to Eridan’s side. “Sounds good to me!” He settled next to him, pulling the movie out and offering it. “I don’t know if your strange alien contraptions work the same as ours, but here’s the DVD.”
